Dear Traveler: thank you for choosing us to perform this Tour! We hope you enjoy your trip.
Here we give you a guidance on their tour with the information that we believe may be of your interest. The information is indicative, may exist variations on designated hours.
TRANSFER from the airport, if you have it included or purchasing. Our transfer will be waiting for you with a poster on behalf of Europamundo or its name to the output of the custom (after collecting your luggage)..
Remember to inform us by phone if you lost your connection flight or expected delay of their arrival, in your VOUCHER figure the phone of the transfer.
IMPORTANT: If you had additional nights upon arrival the hotel will have your reservation, but his travel guide normally will not be until the night before the start of the tour.
You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.
Scenery: Pleasant landscapes of Castile and León and northern Portugal. Mountains, green areas, and small villages along the way.
Note: When crossing into Portugal, you will need to set your clock back one hour (-1).
07:30 a.m. – Departure from Madrid . We’ll travel through Castile toward northern Portugal. On the way, we’ll make a brief stop at the Mirador de los Cuatro Postes, a scenic viewpoint offering stunning photo opportunities of Ávila’s magnificent medieval walls.
12:00 p.m. – Arrival in Ciudad Rodrigo , near the Portuguese border. Free time to stroll through this charming walled city, known for its picturesque streets and impressive cathedral.
01:00 p.m. – Departure from Ciudad Rodrigo and entry into Portugal. We’ll stop for lunch at a service area along the route.
04:00 p.m. (Portuguese time) – Arrival in Porto. Upon arrival, we’ll board a rabelo , a traditional Portuguese boat on the Douro River, for a 50-minute cruise. From the water, we’ll admire Porto’s stunning riverside views and pass under six bridges, including the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge, one of the city’s most famous landmarks. Free time to explore the medieval Ribeira district, known for its narrow cobblestone streets lined with old merchant houses and charming cafés.
06:30 p.m. – Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
Note: If the number of passengers traveling from Madrid to Porto is very low, this segment may be completed by plane, in which case the stop in Ciudad Rodrigo will be canceled.
09:30 a.m. - Coimbra, the third-largest city in Portugal, known for its historic university and charming, steep streets. 11:30 a.m. - Departure from Coimbra.
12:30 p.m. - Batalha Monastery. Impressive medieval building; the tomb of kings. You’ll explore the interior of the monastery, admire its stunning façade, or stroll through the quaint shopping streets nearby. 01:30 p.m. - Departure from Batalha Monastery.
02:00 p.m. - Nazaré, a fishing town perched on a cliff. We’ll include the “elevator” ride up to the old city, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and the popular beach. Enjoy time for lunch and to relax. 04:30 p.m. - Departure from Nazaré.
05:00 p.m. - Óbidos, a charming town enclosed by medieval walls, featuring a castle, flower-filled streets, and vibrant shops. 06:15 p.m. - Departure from Óbidos.
07:30 p.m. - Lisbon.
08:30 p.m. - We’ll return to the hotel from the lively Restauradores Square , filled with vibrant bars and cafes.
