ITINERARY

SAN ANDRES ISLAND

Travelers from all over the world come to these paradise islands in search of perfect sunsets, white sand beaches, and tall palm trees swaying in the breeze. Combined with the carefree smiles of the locals, these elements make this destination one of the best places for a tropical vacation.

DAY 1 – ORIGIN / SAN ANDRÉS ISLANDS:
Arrival at the island of the sea of seven colors, where you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred via the island’s public taxi service from Gustavo Rojas Airport to your selected hotel. Accommodation.

Notes:

  • To enter the island, it is necessary to purchase a Tourist Card, costing approximately USD 40 per person, payable on-site in Colombian pesos.
  • As per regulations by the Island's Government, airport transfer services must be carried out exclusively by local taxis, providing a source of income for the island’s natives. This service includes assistance from our staff, taxi boarding, and the cost of the service.
  • For arrivals between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM, nighttime service charges apply.

DAY 2 – SAN ANDRÉS (Island Tour):
Breakfast at the hotel. A representative will be waiting for you to start a tour around San Andrés Island, where you’ll admire the most popular tourist spots of this Caribbean destination.
We will make a stop of approximately 20 minutes at Morgan’s Cave, a site where, according to legend, the English pirate Henry Morgan hid some of the treasures he stole from Spanish galleons.
We continue our tour to the Natural Pool at West View, where you can swim in the enchanting sea of seven colors for about 15 minutes.
During the circuit, we will also stop at the Blow Hole (Hoyo Soplador), located at the southern tip of the island — a natural phenomenon produced by a series of tunnels beginning in the coral reefs and ending at a hole several meters above sea level. When the tide rises and a wave enters these tunnels with force, compressed air is expelled through the hole.
We finish at the beautiful and charming beaches of San Luis, known for their white sands and the striking contrast of the blue sea.

Over time, extraction technology evolved to digging underground tunnels for larger salt production.

Inside these ancient tunnels stands the magnificent Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, located 180 meters underground. It includes a small miners' chapel dedicated to the Virgin, Our Lady of the Rosary of Guasá (Guasá means "mine" in Chibcha). After the visit, we return to Bogotá. Accommodation.
